On Tuesday, May 21, the supervisors will consider approving the Sonoma County Department of Transportation and Public Work’s (DTPW) proposed list of roads to be improved during the 2020 and 2021 construction seasons. The roads to be repaired during the 2019 construction season were decided in September 2017.

On March 20, the City of Sebastopol launched a three-month 'Bus Buddies' program in an effort to help encourage ridership on Sonoma County Transit's Route 24. Overall ridership on the shuttle has already increased over 57% since free fares were announced last summer. The program aims to keep the momentum going, and ridership growing.

The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors have approved funding to subsidize fares for all riders on Route 28, the “River Shuttle,” through June 30, 2020. The “Fare-Free” program is designed to make using local transit services easier and to encourage hop-on, hop-off, travel without the need to pay a fare.

The Sonoma County Airport now offers expanded electric vehicle charging stations and Tesla Charging Stations in the long-term parking lot. As part of the Sonoma County Airport (STS) parking lot renovation and expansion, the Airport now offers expandedChargePoint electric vehicle (EV) charging stations located in both the long-term parking lot and in front of the Airport terminal, and Tesla Charging Stations in the long-term parking lot.
