The Lower Russian River Trail Feasibility Study has been holding public workshops and meetings since May 2019, to gather input on their plans for a car-free, continuous walking and bicycling trail from Forestville to Jenner along the Lower Russian River corridor. The Public Draft Study is Regional Park's first draft of the study that will go to the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors on January 14, 2020 for review and discussion. It details the study process and community input, recommended trail alignment and amenities, estimated costs, and offers the next steps to move toward implementation.
If you would like to provide additional feedback by email please submit via the contact form.
Following feedback from the Board and the community, we will make revisions so the Final Study can be accepted in February 2020.
You can view the Public Draft Study on our project website
