CSZ - SUBDUCTION ZONE LOVE? IMPACT TO BODEGA BAY? ARE YOU READY? This is a must not miss meeting. Join Bodega Bay CERT on Monday, February 10, 2020 at the Fire Station to learn why there is no love for the Cascadia Subduction Zone major impact if it pops. It can generate a much more powerful earthquake and tsunami than the San Andreas fault.  Scientists say it is PAST DUE…  Do you know about it? Do you know what to do during and immediately following the quake?  Join us for this important life-saving meeting.

There is strength in numbers. I hope to see some of you in Santa Rosa for the Women’s March on January 18th, 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in the Courthouse Square. Also the next night, January 19th, is the annual MLK Jr. “Live the Legacy - Make it Happen” celebration at the Santa Rosa High School Auditorium, 7 - 9 p.m. Speaking of blessings, a gift of new life has been bestowed on me this year. I am expecting a baby girl anytime now. She has already brought so much joy to me and my family.

Be sure to visit the Artisans’ Co-op Gallery for your local holiday treasures. Gallery wide sale December 18 to January 2, open daily 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. You will find great additions to your home or unique gifts for those special people in your life. Speaking of special people, I would like to recognize Gloria “Glo” Molica, a heartbeat of Bodega who passed on October 17 at age 67 from Alzheimer’s disease. Her presence will be greatly missed.

Stop in at the Artisans’ Co-op Gallery on November 30th, 11a.m.-5p.m., for theHarvest Celebration!17175 Bodega Hwy. As many of you know or have come to notice, the Freestone store has been closed for some time now - since the owner passed away last year. Bill Cantrell had operated the store for about 20 years and suddenly died on March 8, 2018, resulting in its immediate closure.

We’ve lost a longtime treasured member of the community. 77-year-old Bill Fink was well known by many as a kind and smart man who would always be in the annual parade flashing one of his beautiful Morgan sports cars. He imported, collected, modified, sold, worked on and of course loved to drive these vintage British cars. Access to links to watch 3 part video series riding Morgan car in Sonoma County with Bill Fink.
